In response to such wave of digital wireless convergence, TELECESS, in partnership with global technology leaders, plans to offer all of the key wireless access solutions that will play a critical role in building the future of next-generation telecommunications access: voice-centric mobile communications solutions, data-centric broadband wireless Internet solutions, local-area Wi-Fi connectivity solutions, and wide-area high-capacity networking solutions In view of such ambitious business plan, our Broadband Wireless Internet Group will focus on providing innovative broadband wireless connectivity solutions based on both proprietary and open-standard technologies, such as MC-SCDMA and emerging 802.16, 802.20 (MBWA), and HPi (proposed Korean portable internet services). Similarly, our Mobile Communications Group will concentrate on advanced coverage enhancement solutions for indoor, outdoor and underground applications in mobile wireless infrastructure including CDMA, GSM, W-CDMA and TRS networks. Recently, we launched Wi-Fi Connectivity Group to provide our customers with innovative Wi-Fi solutions for public and private LAN/WAN applications based on 802.11(b), 802.11(a) and 802.11(g) standards. In addition, in response to the growing demands for carrier-grade, point-to-point and point-to-multipoint secure wireless connectivity, our High-Capacity Wireless WAN Group will pioneer commercial applications of high-bandwidth data communications solutions such as microwave, millimeter-wave, and free-space optic radio systems. Before Mr. Hwang took the leadership of TELECESS, he served as Director of Engineering at Cylux Technologies, Inc. where he developed various wireless communications systems and NMS platforms. Mr. Hwang also served as Technical Director at Pixo Korea where he managed the development and applications of web-based mobile communications software platforms. Prior to this, Mr. Hwang held senior engineering positions with Samsung Electronics and Samsung Thales, where he developed communications and network management software for various military communication systems. Mr. Hwang holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University in Korea and a master's degree in Computer Science from Western Illinois University. As COO of TELECESS, Mr. Oh leads the company's overall business operations including sales, marketing and business development activities. Prior to joining Telecess, Mr. Oh served as Executive Vice President and COO for Open 21 Korea, Inc., a fixed broadband wireless access provider in Korea. Mr. Oh also served as COO of Baycore Wireless, Inc., a start-up developer of new modem technology, and as CEO of Coweb Korea, Inc., where he introduced on-line educational information management systems for schools in Korea. Prior to venturing into IT careers, Mr. Oh held various marketing and management positions with Kolon Group, a diversified Korean conglomerate in Korea, where he served as Managing Director of European Operations at Kolon Industries., Inc. Mr. Oh holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Korea University. As an executive advisor of TELECESS, Mr. Cho provides the company management with a broad scope of advisory services including strategic alliances and international business development. In his previous career, Mr. Cho served as CEO and President of Cylux Technologies, Inc. and Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at Dynamicwave Telecom, Inc. Prior to this, he provided business development and consulting services to several Korean wireless technology companies as an independent consultant, and held various management and technical positions at several U.S.-based companies, including Allied Capital Corporation, TRW Inc., and Hughes Space & Communications Group. Mr. Cho holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from University of California, Los Angeles and a J.D. from Southwestern Law School. He is a member of the State Bar of California and is a licensed U.S. Patent Attorney.
